In a candid conversation on the L-Tido Podcast, The Hustler shared the story behind naming his daughter Nairobi, shedding light on the inspiration behind her unique name. “Is there a reason you named your daughter Nairobi?” L-Tido asked Emtee.

In response, the Roll Up hitmaker said; “Because I flew over there got to meet Trey Songz, got to work with Trey Songz in Nairobi, so I feel like that was a monumental moment in my career. To top it off and to show you I’m a warrior, when I landed there I feel sick, so I was doing my sh*t sick. I was in the booth taking long because I was sick as f*ck. I had tonsils, I had flu, and I witnessed that in Nairobi.”

Emtee continues to make a significant impact in the music industry while also caring for his family. Although the rapper has faced challenges in his relationship with his wife, he has recently expressed that they have reconciled and are now on good terms.

“Right now we’re cool, we just had our first daughter, I feel like it was exaggerated in a way and many people had many things to say. Im not that n**gg, I dont put my hands on women, I dont do non of that sh*t,” he said. “Right now things are okay, I can say because I can get to see my kids and spend time with them, I’m grateful for that.”
