Nadia Nakai Shares Excitement Over Her Forthcoming “Spiritual” Album. Having recently dropped a couple of singles, Nadia Nakai is establishing the vibe and building anticipation for her upcoming album scheduled for release next year.

Taking to Twitter (X), Bragga conveyed her excitement about her upcoming project, expressing that it holds a deep spiritual significance for her. “Listening to the album on the way home… it’s sooo amazing!!! Nothing you’ve heard from me before! This is spiritual!” Nadia Nakai said.

Earlier, Nadia had announced her intent to release an EP, but the rapper made a U-turn, deciding to expand it into a full-fledged album. “My tribute EP has become my tribute ALBUM and it’s so beautiful. I wish I could drop it today.” Nadia said in another post.

Bragga has been struggling to cope with the loss of her partner, AKA, who was tragically murdered in Durban this February. Seeking a meaningful outlet for her grief, Bragga announced her intention to honour AKA through music, leading to the upcoming release of a tribute music project.

“The main project that I think we’re focusing on is the tribute EP for Kiernan. I dont know if I can mention when I want to drop it, but it will be on a sentimental date which is quite soon. That is the project that I’m putting my all into,” she said.

“When you do hear the project, it’s gonna sound very different from what you probably expected from me as Nadia Nakai the rapper. I think I’ve learnt a lot this year when it comes to music and just being an artist and collaborating and having workshops and writing camps and I really delved into stuff like that. So my project will sound extremely different but exciting too, it’s not piano,” added Nadia Nakai.
