Nadia Nakai Set To Drop AKA Tribute Track “Never Leave.” In a heartfelt tribute to commemorate the legacy of the late South African hip-hop icon AKA, celebrated rapper Nadia Nakai has revealed her plans for the imminent release of a tribute single titled “Never Leave” featuring Kashcpt.
Taking to Instagram, Bragga announced that she will drop the track on the 26th of January 2024, a few days before AKA’s ethereal birthday. “•Never Leave• Tribute Single. Ft @kashcpt dropping 26th JANUARY. I Miss You. Happy Birthday (28 January 2024),” Nadia Nakai announced.
Last year, Nadia revealed her ongoing dedication to crafting a tribute EP in honour of her late partner, AKA. Bragga emphasized that, despite juggling numerous musical projects, the AKA tribute EP takes precedence, with her channelling the majority of her energy and focus into its creation.
The main project that I think we’re focusing on is the tribute EP for Kiernan. I dont know if I can mention when I want to drop it, but it will be on a sentimental date which is quite soon. That is the project that I’m putting my all into,” she said.
