Nandile Shares Heartfelt Story Of Suffering Sexual Abuse From A Younger Age. Hip hop singer and songwriter Nandile has opened up about how she also suffered sexual abuse in the hands of a man.

Taking to Twitter to share her story Nandile expressed how this ongoing campaign of #AmINext hit home with her. She revealed that being raped from the age of 5 by her uncle ruined her.

“I was raped at the age of 5 (a thread).. by a family member who lived with us. I suffer from anxiety that I no longer speak of because I gained a new fear of being too much for those close to me. I don’t just live in fear of #AmINext but will I be next again?

“I am expected to remain a normal human being, I am expected to not be depressed for too long, I watch the same people who have put me down when I was already giving up tweet about GBV and yet they knew everything that I had gone through and this is not even my full story,” read part of her thread.
