Big Star Shares A Hilarious Mishap That Inspired His Single “Fede Sho.” Big Star opened up about the inspiration behind his latest single “Fede Sho,” revealing a hilarious mishap that sparked the creation of the song.
Big Star Johnson gained fame thanks to his exceptional flow and infectious beats. However, it’s not solely talent that ensures great music delivery; inspiration plays a crucial role as well. Speaking during an interview on
ZkhiphaniTV, the Johannesburg-based rapper revealed the inspiration behind the making of his album lead single “Fede Sho” featuring Stino Le Thwenny.
“So this time around when I make music it sort of it has to flow through me, I dont try to be the most impressive writer,” he said. “So with ‘Fede Sho’ I remember the week before I went into studio I was working at this event. It was a government event. So there were Tender Prenuers, Blessers, and I was there with my girl and I remember these guys trying to mack on my girl and I remember leaving that event (my girl left with me by the way).”
“Then when i got into the studio with Stino Le Thwenny it was so interesting when he came up with the hook I was like yebo baba. It took me back to that story, so I think it was a song where we were addressing all the haters you know, people who think we aint got what it takes,” he added.
