Costa Titch’s Mother Shares Grief 1 Year After Her Son’s Death
Costa Titch’s Mother Shares Grief 1 Year After Her Son’s Death. March 11th, 2023 marked a profoundly mournful day in the South African music scene as the industry bid farewell to the beloved musical superstar, Costantinos Tsobanoglou, affectionately known as Costa Titch, whose untimely passing left a profound void.
The loss of Costa Titch has been a complicated reality for both the South African music community and his devoted fans to accept. However, amidst the collective grief, the acclaimed rapper’s mother has been wrestling with the profound challenge of comprehending her son’s untimely passing.
Speaking exclusively to The SouthAfrican publication, Costa Titch’s mother Lara Langeveld revealed that the past year has been “hard” for her to come to terms with her son’s passing and she still hopes to get answers on what happened to the Amapiano and rap superstar.
“It’s tough for me not to know what happened to Costa. Hopefully, I can get some answers. I need those answers. I know my son. My son was no addict, and he definitely did not have epilepsy. He was a healthy person,” she said.
Costa Titch’s mother remains resolute in her belief that her son met with foul play, asserting that Costa Titch was in good health.
“I accept God took my son, but I cannot accept how he died. What broke me was hearing my son was pleading for help, and that has scarred me for life. I know this country has a high crime rate, but I still want justice for my son. I highly suspect someone hurt my son as he was not on chronic medication, and he was healthy,” she said.
