This fusion of musical prowess and astute business acumen has elevated him to the echelons of prominence in South Africa’s entertainment industry. With the amount of music he has released over the year, Cassper dropped his seventh album Solomon last year, and the project has received mixed reactions upon its release.

Taking to social media, one of Nyovest’s followers clamoured that the rapper should release new music and maintain his reputation as Africa’s best hip-hop star. “Give us music! Africa needs you back in the studio! Give us music then flex! You are the last standing great artiste from SA; we need you to stay in this game!” Read the post.

In response, the Mama I Made It hitmaker said that he recently released the Solomon album and the music has not yet expired hence there’s no reason for him to drop any new music soon. Cassper added that he doesn’t want to drop any music right now alluding that he’s working. “I dropped an album a few months ago. It hasn’t expired. Music doesn’t expire. I don’t wanna drop new music, for now. Im working doe!!!” Cassper said.

Despite the multi-award-winning rapper’s decision to withhold new releases in light of the Solomon album, there remains a prevailing sentiment among fans that he hasn’t quite given the album the promotional spotlight it deserves. Fans have been graced with just one music video from the album, and their satisfaction with Cassper’s promotional efforts for this body of work has been notably lacking.
