“You were named Afrika for a reason”: Priddy Ugly Delivers An Uplifting Message To His Daughter

In a poignant moment during an interview on Juice 2.0, the renowned rapper seized the opportunity to convey a deeply heartfelt message to his daughter, expressing the profound sentiments he holds for her. He shared how his love for her serves as a guiding light, propelling him forward in his relentless pursuit to witness her growth and support her journey into womanhood, shaping her into the person he envisions her to become.

To my baby girl, you’re the reason for everything that I do, you’re my reason for life and I love my life, I love God, I love my wife. But even in times when my love for my wife, my love for God and my love for myself my life wasn’t sufficient enough to make me feel like I deserve to live any further Afrika was a reason I couldn’t do anything to myself,” said Priddy Ugly.

In his message, the Ntja’ka hitmaker subtly revealed grappling with thoughts of despair, yet it was the profound love he harbours for his daughter that served as his lifeline, gently pulling him back from the brink and anchoring him to a sense of purpose and resilience.

“I’m talking about when I was at the lowest of lows, real life happens and just thoughts of me not being able to see my daughter grow, thoughts of me not being able to walk her down the aisle, see her have children haunted me. I need to be there for her and I love you, you’re my reason for breathing, you’re my inspiration,” he said.

“I have days when I have my own battles, irrespective of how I’m feeling just seeing Afrika it makes it all go away. It’s just all worth it, I love you, you’re everything, and you’re named Afrika for a reason. Im not gonna speak about the reason here, but you’re gonna live your life finding out and knowing exactly why. Africa is home, Africa is us, we’re Africans, we’re in Africa right now, we exist because of Africa, mankind is Africa. I love you, baby girl, I will tell you about the whole of how much I love you.”
