Rising Rapper Kane Keid Says Nasty C Is More Versatile Than A-Reece
Rising Rapper Kane Keid Says Nasty C Is More Versatile Than A-Reece. As the South African hip-hop scene continues to evolve, a new generation of rappers is emerging with their own distinct voices.
Kane Keid, a rising star in the local rap game, has recently shared his thoughts on two of the country’s most influential artists—A-Reece and Nasty C—highlighting their musical versatility and the impact they’ve had on his own journey.
In a candid interview, Kane Keid expressed deep admiration for Nasty C stating that the Durban rapper is more versatile than his counterpart A-Reece. Speaking during an interview on Spreading Humours, the up-and-coming rapper made his remarks after he was asked to choose his favourite SA rapper between A-Reece and Nasty C.
“I love Nasty C, I feel like with Nasty C I have a wide range to select from. With A-Reece, it’s like constant raps and sometimes it feels like the topic is being repeated. No, I have to be honest, with A-Reece it seems like, it’s always betrayal or it’s always friendships. I dont think I’ve heard a wide enough versatility from Reece,” Kane Keid said.
The up-and-coming rapper made it clear that he is a fan of A-Reece’s music but given a choice of who he would want to listen to forever, he would choose Nasty C over A-Reece. “I’m not even speaking from a fan perspective because, dont get me wrong, I’m a fan of his music, but when we talking like would you rather listen to Nasty or A-Reece forever I would choose Nasty C,” he added.
