The Ladysmith-born artist confirmed release of the remix, adding another release to the build-up towards EHLANE. The collaboration pairs Blue Pappi’s melodic approach with the harder trap sound associated with K1llbrady, setting the stage for a fresh take on the July 2026 single.

Pappi recently revealed that “AMA GETDOWN” appears as track 12 on the upcoming project. The original song was released in July before making its way onto the Road to Ehlane EP, where its energetic production and melodic delivery helped establish the sound surrounding the next chapter of Pappi’s career.

K1llbrady brings his own underground credentials to the collaboration. The Sandton-based trap artist has built a growing catalogue that includes projects such as FYBR P1: FAMILIA PACK, adding a different edge to Pappi’s established sound.

The remix also arrives as Pappi continues to build momentum around the EHLANE era. Following the release of the Road to Ehlane EP, the rapper has been taking the new material to audiences through the ongoing EHLANE Tour, with Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town among the cities featured on the run.

The full EHLANE mixtape is currently expected to arrive on October 2, 2026, according to early project listings. That makes the “AMA GETDOWN” remix another piece of the rollout as Pappi gradually unveils more of what listeners can expect from the upcoming project.

Known for combining personal storytelling with melodic rap and his links to The Qwellers collective, Blue Pappi continues to expand the sound around EHLANE. The addition of K1llbrady gives “AMA GETDOWN” a new collaborative dimension while keeping the original track at the centre of the rollout.
