The rapper has announced that he has joined the Sprite South Africa family. The rapper just announced his signing to a major label and now a new deal alert.
LucasRaps shared on his social media platforms the good news with his fans. “New Deal Alert!! Feeling blessed to be part of the @sprite_rsa family and a big thank you for having me on board,” captioned Lucas posted a picture of himself in the booth along with a can of Sprite.
Sprite South Africa has revealed Kim Jayde and LucasRap as part of their #LetsBeClear campaign, both personalities revealed the news on their respective social media platforms. Fans of the popular rapper shared their congratulatory messages on his post. One fan commented that it’s Lucas’s season to which one fan agreed and said they waited too long for this season. Another fan shared that this is why Lucas has always rapped about the fizzy drink.
LucasRaps’ announcement of his new Sprite deal comes hot off the heels of his announcement, that he has signed to Def Jam Recordings Africa. Last week, LucasRaps become the latest addition to the label’s star-studded roster that features, South Ah rappers, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Nadia Nakai, Tshego, Ricky Tyler and Vector.
LucasRaps posted a video on social media sharing the good news, “I think it’s about time that I tell you guys that I am now a part of the Def Jam Africa family”. The rapper also dropped a new single, Slide along with the news and shared that his debut album is ready for pre-order. “The day has finally come. I present to you “031 To The World”. I’ve been working this project since 2018. Discarding what I didn’t like, improving on what I did & accommodating the dynamic growth that contributed to the development of my sound.
