This Is Who Zingah Recognizes As His Only Competition
In life people often compete against each other as a measurement of success, this is often not a bad thing as it pushes a person to work harder and reach the goals they have set for themselves. When it comes to the Hip Hop streets everybody wants to be the best in the game and artist’s hip hop or not, they are always working hard to improve their game and become the best.
Rapper Zingah when it comes to his competition recently shared that he is not competing with anyone in the SA Hip Hop streets. Never shy to say what’s on his mind, Zingah got honest with his followers on Twitter and shared that he is low-key competing with Nigerian artists Wizkid and Tems. “To be honest; I’m lowkey competing with Wiz & Tems. SA hip hop is the least of my worries,” tweeted the rapper.
Wizkid and Tems collaborated on the song Essence which has gone to top charts across the world and it seems that is exactly what Zingah is aiming to do with his music. Whilst Zingah may see the megastars as his competition, tweeps seemed to not be entirely convinced. A few fans who believe in Zingah as much as he does, commented on his post and encouraged him to keep working to achieve his goal. A tweep told the rapper, “Yu got it in yu Lawd of. The Jiggy…. I believe in you even though ningasibizanga kwi video shoot.“. A Zingah fan reminded the rapper that he has always been at that level. “You have always been at that LEVOL gotman it’s about time you remember,” commented the fan.
Another tweep advised Zingah to stay wise and rather be his own competition as he is competing with artists who are not competing with him. “Sad Reality: you competing with them but they not competing with you.” A critic also advised Zingah to rather let his music speak for itself but also commended him for having some ambition. “Yow let your shit talk for you when will you ever learn that?Have a proper run than bump your chest B!This tweet is nice and ambition is a good thing !” shared the tweep.
Zinagah is known to blow his own horn and he won’t be stopping anytime. The rapper recently boasted about his latest release Ubsantusantu featuring Blxckie is the most original song out at the moment. Zingah also considered himself the “greatest musician SA” has ever seen. The artist who has been in the game for 10 years seems to know his worth when it comes to the game and is not shy when it comes to that. Zingah is not about to wait for his accolades to be given to him instead he is patting himself on the shoulder.
