Zakwe Raises His Feature Price With Duncan Following High Demand
Rappers Zakwe and Duncan are too of South Ah dopest MC’s and anyone would be fortunate enough to work with them. A few weeks ago Zakwe revealed how much Duncan and he charge for a feature. The amount that Zakwe gave is what he considered reasonable especially for two artists. Considering the different styles and flow each rapper brings to the table, some would say dropping a huge bag on the rappers would make be worth spending R50 000.
If you didn’t get to book the two rappers when Zakwe shared that they charged R50 000 for a feature, now you are going to have to pay full price. Zakwe recently shared that following the many requests for a feature things the “special” has ended and now a feature is R80 000. “Too many feature requests for #ZakweAndDuncanSpecial is OVER, features now back to our normal price – R80K,” wrote Zakwe on Facebook.
The two rappers have come a long way in their respective careers and have earned their right to charge the amount that they do. The two artists after they made peace in 2020, following a five-year-long beef, dropped a joint project, Zakwe and Duncan. On the album, they worked with the likes of Kwesta, K. O and DJ Tira. Zakwe and Duncan in May dropped the visuals for their collaboration with Kwesta, Kapteni. The video on YouTube has been viewed over 300 000 times. The two rappers have been busy working hard performing and have been booked at several events around the country. Zakwe was also in Johannesburg and hit the studio with a few artists in studio with a few artists.
Fans were surprised to find out that the special ended so soon, other fans began to wonder how much does Nasty C charge for a feature if Zakwe charges R80k. Nasty C has also been very generous with the features of late. He has already collaborated with Indigo Stella and Anica Kiana in the recent week and now he has announced a new feature with Domani. When it comes to Zakwe his reputation is worth the money. Zakwe has created one of the biggest SA Hip Hop songs, Sebentin which he collaborated with Cassper Nyovest on. The track was a heavy rap song that showed their flow. Recently Zakwe shared on Twitter about how they killed the track as they reminisced about the song. “Yeah king, ay kona we killed this one yeerrrr,” wrote Zakwe.
