Rashid Kay Confirms Date For Pop Bottles Tribute Concert For DJ Dimplez. The devastating passing founder of Pop Bottles and Hip hop DJ Boitumelo Mooi, popularly known as DJ Dimplez left a dark space in the SA hip hop industry. DJ Dimplez suffered from a sudden brain haemorrhage which led to his tragic passing.
In the just-ended CottonFest, SA artists took to stage with live performances to give their tribute to Riky Rick. The same thing is to be done for DJ Dimplez as Pop Bottles makes a return honouring the life of the late founder.
Taking to Twitter, SA hip hop activist Rashid Kay, confirmed just after the scintillating live performances at CottonFest that Pop Bottle will be taking place this weekend. The event has been lined up to honour DJ Dimplez for all the work he has done for the SA hip hop fraternity. “#CottonFest22 Riky must be proud. This weekend it’s Pop Bottles for DJ Dimplez.” Tweeted Rashid Kay.
Prior to Rashid Kay‘s confirmation of the Pop Bottles event, the event organizers shared the official date of the event on Instagram but they did not disclose the line-up of performers. “Venue alert🚨 #POPBOTTLESTribute concert will be held at Casalinga. Pop Bottles has been an event that has shared an exclusive Sunday afternoon hip-hop experience around South Africa over the years. This time around it will be much exclusive as everyone will be honouring the legacy of the late DJ Dimplez.
