Tshego is one of the artists who has testified his dissatisfaction with the treatment he has received from record labels he has been signed to. Taking to Instagram, the Pink Pather posed to have found a solution on how artists should deal with major record labels’ ill-treatment of artists. “Only thing you should be doing with a major label is finessing them,” he wrote.

The rapper once came out and mentioned that he has not been paid any money for the songs that he owns the masters. “If I told you I haven’t seen a single cent (sales) from Hennessy, Garden, The Vibe, Tell Em Say, So High, Dem Ah Wind, etc… What would you say? Mind you, I OWN THE MASTERS ON ALL THESE SONGS!” Wrote Tshego.

Recently, the rapper took to Twitter and announced the release of his catalogue of classic songs as an independent artist after parting ways with Universal Music. “AT MIDNIGHT I drop a capsule of 7 classics.
