Currently, Emtee is distributing his newly launched Emtee merch which he partnered with urban streetwear brand Amakipkip. The rapper has been moving around distributing to his close friends in the industry, with the likes of Majorsteez, Dj Sliqe, Uncle Vinny, and 25K amongst others.
Nevertheless, following AKA’s passing, Emtee chose to honour the rap icon’s memory by photoshopping one of AKA’s pictures with the Emtee logo. In the Instagram post, Emtee praised AKA for being the only person who never gave him pressure when working together in the studio. “An idol. An icon. A father. The only n*gg* who ever gave Big Hustle pressure and nervous in the studio,” Emtee wrote.

The unexpected tribute has left fans praising Emtee for remembering Kiernan Forbes with such wholesome gestures. AKA tragically passed away last year in Durban after he was shot to death along with his friend Tibz.
