L-Tido Blasts DJ Maphorisa After Sir Trill’s Exploitation Claims
L-Tido Blasts DJ Maphorisa After Sir Trill’s Exploitation Claims. The South African music industry has long been a powerhouse for producing top-charting hits, showcasing a vibrant and diverse array of musical talent. However, beneath the surface of this success lies a harsh reality marked by fierce competition and widespread exploitation of artists.
In this dog-eat-dog environment, many musicians find themselves navigating a landscape fraught with challenges, from unfair contracts to lack of proper representation, often struggling to secure their rightful share of the industry’s profits.
Recently, amapiano sensation Sir Trill appeared on the L-Tido podcast, where he subtly accused DJ Maphorisa of exploiting him. Without revealing any names of who has exploited him in the music industry, the name that was thrown around during the interview was DJ Maphorisa.
“Why is everybody asking me, if everybody thinks like that, I dont wanna say nothing about nobody because sometimes it gets too dangerous it might even threaten your life. But I still respect that person as a elder (grootman) but you know yourself and it’s not just me who is going through it. Others are just scared to say,” said Sir Trill.
In response to Sir Trill‘s subliminal accusations, DJ Maphorisa shared a WhatsApp conversation between them, revealing that Sir Trill had indeed been paid his due money. Phori’s post went beyond just clearing his own name; it also involved dragging L-Tido into the controversy.
“Maybe his talking about other Grootman’s đź’” this young man needs help. I remember him not going to the Music Video ya De Mthuda John Wick I knew we gonna have a problem here. Self sabotage n Karma from all the promoters u fucked not pitching those gigs. N FUCK L-tido Nyamao san,” wrote DJ Maphorisa.
In response to Maphorisa, L-Tido called the renowned DJ a coward, urging him to address the people he is allegedly robbing instead of targeting him. “Phori you a fucken coward Marete a gao” I literally didn’t say shit about you . Deal with the people you robbing not me,” L-Tido lashed back.
