“I approached this shoot with the same energy—very free and expressive, even in post-production,” she shared. The results? A striking series of images that echo the duality of Kane Keid’s essence: an old soul with a modern edge.

Kane Keid, whose recent tape NOT FAMOUS has been steadily gaining attention for its unique blend of introspection and flair, inspired Thickleeyonce to channel a visual aesthetic that bridges eras. “I wanted the pictures to have a sense of old school (nostalgia) but also very much new school, ’cause he’s young and cool!”

The styling—intentional and layered—mirrors the complexity of Keid’s sound. Thickleeyonce even notes a touch of confident bravado in his music. “On his tape NOT FAMOUS, Keid sounds (and I know he’s gonna fight me on this), but he sounds cocky… you know, in a good way! It’s like… HYFR! You’re really him. Say it louder! & you deserve it all! King sh*t 🐐”

More than just a model in front of her lens, Keid proved to be a natural collaborator. “Most people struggle in front of the camera,” Thickleeyonce added, “but he’s a natural & one of the coolest people I’ve photographed. What a refreshing experience.”

In true Thickleeyonce fashion, the shoot wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about emotion, identity, and authenticity. “I really wanted the photography to reflect how the music made me feel,” she said. “I love merging the art of music with the art of photography & fashion.”

With shoutouts to her team for helping bring the vision to life, Thickleeyonce’s latest project reaffirms her place at the intersection of culture, creativity, and collaboration. As for Keid? If this shoot is any indication, the NOT FAMOUS artist is destined for undeniable fame.
