Cassper Nyovest To Open Police Case Over Alleged Uber Theft

Cassper Nyovest To Open Police Case Over Alleged Uber Theft. Cassper Nyovest has publicly accused an Uber courier driver of stealing a gift he tried to send to a friend, saying repeated attempts to recover the item have failed and that he’s now preparing to open a police case.

“The gift I got for my friend, it’s been three days, Uber has been calling me getting apologies. But my item is not back yet,” the rapper complained, adding that an Uber representative allegedly confirmed they had the package and asked for his address—only for nothing to arrive. “Uber, I’m now forced to open a police case because this guy stole from me and now Uber is lying to me.”
Providing further context, Cassper said the delivery was made a couple days ago via Uber’s courier service and that the driver “decided to steal the gift and report that he returned it to me.” He stressed that the item in question was “such an expensive gift,” and claimed his emails to the company went unanswered for more than 24 hours. “I never use Uber courier again!!!! This happens after they have stolen food sooo many times!!! Such rubbish!!!!” he wrote.
The artist’s posts quickly sparked debate around courier accountability, consumer recourse, and the growing reliance on app-based deliveries for high-value items. Cassper says he initially held off on involving law enforcement while the company apologized and promised to locate the package, but after three days without resolution he intends to escalate the matter formally.
