Luna Florentino – “Hip Hop expects the same niggas to save us every year”

The SAMAs have always given people reasons to complain of their methods or strategies. Luna became one of the people to share that maybe things would be different in Hip Hop if the same people didn’t represent the genre every year.

Luna tweeted making comparison to House music stated that it is always winning because it opens up space for other artists and each year it’s different faces and voices owning up the game and taking by storm. Florentino was seemingly impressed by the win of Amapiano

“This is why House music always wins in the festive season. There’s ALWAYS a new batch of artists in House music. Hip Hop expects the same niggas to save us every year,” he tweeted.

Last week the No Chill rapper said that Hip Hop is far from where it’s suppose to be. “Meek Mill was booked to perform in Dubai for $450K. Thats over R6M for a show. That should show you how far SA Hip Hop is from where its supposed to be. We need to EXPORT our music and culture and sell it to other countries the way they been selling their cultures to us.”
