We have seen a number of artists depart from the label over the years with Emtee being one of the most recent artists to leave. It seems as though Saudi just might be planning on doing the same. The rapper constantly subs the label in his tweets.
Last year the rapper shared his frustration at the fact that the label owns everything with his name on it. Saudi was recently asked by one of his fans whether he was planning on leaving the label implying that he has been acting as an independent artist but is still contractually signed under the label.
It seems the rapper just might be staying at the label because of the fear of having to leave everything when he departs. ” I was my own boss the whole 2019. But I’ll leave the legal stuff to those who know better,” tweeted Saudi.
