Today We Mark Ice Cube’s Classic Album Death Certificate Which Went Platinum In 1991. Death Certificate is the second studio album of the legendary Compton rapper, Ice Cube, released on October 29th, 1991, highly anticipated with sales of over one million and later in December of that same  year, was certified platinum. Today in history we pay homage to Cube’s utmost significant album of the era, highly charged with racial and political content.

Ice Cube took to Instagram to mark Death Certificate today, released in 1991. The album sparked controversy with its racial and political stance though it was highly received and praised by critics. The album sold 105 000 copies in its first week and  debuted at number 2 billboard hot 200.

Today in 1991, #DeathCertificate goes platinum.
