Watch! Did Cassper And AKA Squash Their Beef In A Football Match? Football is more than just a game, and it is said that the sport has the power to bring people together. That notion was witnessed over the weekend when SA celebrities came together for a celebrity football match.
Cassper Nyovest and AKA grabbed the most attention after they left Mzansi in shock with man questions as they were playing together and giving each other a ‘High Five.’ The football event was hosted at the Wits University Sports Grounds, where musicians from many genres came together to show off their football skills.
Big Zulu arranged the football event in which the various music genres in South Africa competed; the aforesaid rappers were eligible to play for Hip Hop, with Cassper scoring a superb goal. Cass and AKA were seen celebrating the goal and giving each other a high-five in a video that went viral. In another video clip, Cassper was spotted passing the ball to AKA which the latter graciously received.
The two rappers have been trying to settle their beef in a boxing ring, but that did not yield any results with AKA avoiding the bout at all cost. The fact that they played in the same team and communicated well in a football match was amicable but it posed a lot of questions amongst the SA hip-hop fans.
The move left a number of Twitter users befuddled, bewildered, and even outraged. Some even suggested the rappers’ feud was nothing more than a “business transaction” to sell songs.
