Vapor Streetwear SA Partner Responds To Maraza’s Video. Earlier on this week we saw Maraza posting a video of a phone call he had with some fraudulent promoters who were using his name to promote a gig he was not paid to appear at. In the phone call the VAPOR STREETWEAR SA promoter he was talking to said he didn’t know that his business partner had not paid Maraza. He has decided to give his side of the story:
“Greetings,I am believed to had scammed Maraza at a Midrand event which was organised by my business partner/friend.I’m not going to lie about this I had never spoken to Maraza before the recording about the booking. I knew and saw Maraza in the poster the day i posted about it on my instagram, I just didn’t know that he wasn’t payed.Before the event i constantly called my partner to ask about the event but he kept on telling me that everything was fine,i wasn’t organizing this reason being i was concentrating on my school work” said the promoter.
“When he kept on telling me that everything was fine i believed him because i hate no not to,i mean we both worked so hard for the brand to be where it it today,now it didn’t come to mind that he can jeopardize things like that. What people and don’t understand is that this is not a big company this is a hustle and a dream of two 19 year olds to better their lives and those of their families and motivate other young kids out there that they can also do it in life.I had no intentions for this to happen and i’m very embarrassed .What i don’t get is if Maraza saw the poster on Tuesday why didn’t he call me then to question about such? Because then i wouldn’t have allowed this to happen.It has currently been brought to my attention by my business partner’s family that he is not on his original mental state because of stress and depression,this was before and after the event. he is currently in hospital for that condition,this doesn’t condone what happened but it gives an idea of how did things got so messed up.I will repeat this again,i’m very very sorry to Maraza,Bigstar and other artists on the poster.Thank you”
