In response, Black Metaphor defended himself stating that he has not refused to work with the Pretoria-based rapper, but rather it is Reece who has gone silent about working with the US Producer. “I’m not refusing to do a song with him. I been tryna reach out. He ghost now,” he said.

Upon discovering A-Reece’s decision to ignore the renowned US producer, it came as a profound shock to many, stirring up intense dissatisfaction even among his staunchest supporters. Criticism has long surrounded A-Reece regarding his approach to various aspects of his rap career.

Fans and observers have often closely examined A-Reece’s decisions, ranging from his artistic expressions to his business ventures. However, the recent revelation has caused some fans to withdraw their defence of the rapper.

Released on March 27, 2022, the project sparked excitement among hip-hop fans who were impressed by the music and the partnership between Reece and the esteemed US hip-hop producer.
