Riky Rick Sets The Record Straight On Where He Stands With Mabala Noise

Social media is still not over Riky Rick’s rant at the Metro FM Awards this past weekend aimed at record labels. Many have questioned what his rants may mean for his contract with Mabala Noise. Riky Rick sets the Record straight on where he stands with Mabala Noise.

Riky Rick’s manager Bianca Naidoo has clarified that Riky Rick is not going anywhere or planning to leave Mabala. “It is not true and we refuse to comment further on such ridiculous rumours,” Naidoo said.

Mabala Noise spokesperson Tumi Moatshe also rubbished the rumor saying, “It is not true. Mabala Noise is still one happy family and Riky is still very much a part of the label.”

Mabala says the rant was not against them but an encouragement to the young ones. “It was about encouraging young people to not give up and to fight for their music even if there are obstacles. That is the story of trying to uplift the African child and that is what we are doing at Mabala Noise. We never saw it as an attack on us.”
