“To everyone who is trying to use my music for scoring political points – PASOPA!” – Cautions HHP

After being in the game so for long, it’s such a wonderful thing to see that the legendary HHP is still passionate about the music and is still using it as a tool to promote expression. HHP is not only the voice for the youth but he is also teaching them how to voice out their opinions and feelings through art and not violence.

Jabbaman has announced that he will be shooting a brand new music video this week in Mafikeng at the North West University campus. There was some chaotic events that took place at the university recently and Jabbaman is trying to show the youth a different way of doing things! Check out what Jabba had to say below:

Jabba made it clear that he is not interested in seeing a dominant political parties colours at the venue because he doesn’t want people to use his music for scoring political point. Check out what Jabba had to say below:

DUMELANG.

To everyone who is trying to use my music for scoring political points – PASOPA! To all friends, foes and fans who be feeling the message and bumping to the beat..Ayeyeness! WHY #PASOPA!? Just to clarify to everyone, when we wrote this song, we had in mind the struggle of all citizens; especially students in South Africa and the rest of the continent, their struggle that has MAINLY been caused by self serving leaders ignoring the plight and cries of the people. The message is for those leaders to PASOPA!

Batho Batho ba le shebile (people are watching you) and they have run out of patience. The song is for the students and the people irrespective of their political affiliations. #PASOPA is part of the United State Of Emergency #USE worldwide movement @leratolicious1 & I started in responding to issues of oppressed blacks. But again, this movement is not a black or white issue.

It’s a HUMAN ISSUE. WAY FORWARD SO I want to take this opportunity to invite all young people/students to my video shoot this Friday – first assembly, briefs, and choreography will be at 11:00 at NWU Gate. Everyone can wear whatever they like, I just don’t want to see one political party dominating with their colours. Prepare placards of your choice. e.g #iJustWantToFinishVarsity #RespectRightsOfStudents #FeesMustFall #AfricanSolutionsByAfricans If you need to make enquiries on the programme above, please email #PASOPA video shoot coordinators :[email protected] or [email protected] and we will respond within 1 hour. Ke a leboga Jabbaman
