Emtee Speaks On People’s Reaction To His Rate Charges. Emtee is one of the victims when it comes to exploitation in the music industry. The rapper even ended his relationship with his former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, after they allegedly failed to pay him what he was owed.

Emtee is now an independent artist who is running his own record label Emtee Records and it’s clear that he is also in charge of the label’s finances. The rapper has taken to Twitter and spoke about how most people in the music business are offended by the rates that he is charging. “Y do people get offended when you tell them your rates after they’ve asked?” Tweeted Emtee.

Emtee has always been a voice when it comes to artists and producers getting paid reasonable rates in the hip hop game. The Pearl Thusi hitmaker also shared his voice responding to someone who told him that he was working with the young producer BlackTears.

The rapper took to Twitter and notified everyone who is working with the producer to pay him his full rates. “Muntu; “Aye I got BlackTears in the studio cooking up hot shit!” Hustla; “That’s nice. PAY MY YOUNG NIGGA!!!! Whatever you do. PAY HIM HIS FULL RATES.” Tweeted Emtee.
