This time around he laid it down for everyone to know that big artists aren’t indebted to artists who are trying to go big.
The topic rose after K.O spoke about his will to help others break into the industry. One Twitter user accused him of shutting doors at those attempting to be a step closer to the top. The comment had the Holy Water rapper mention that no owes anyone anything in the industry, and that feeling entitled never gets anyone far anyways.
“No one owes you anything, I’ve never heard of you for me to be shutting any doors on you. Folks with entitlement issues never get far anyway,” wrote K.O.
He also responded to another tweep who said aspiring artists are being slept on. The response was that you push the doors in this industry you don’t wait around to be noticed, you put yourself out there.
“These days being slept on is just an excuse, I’m sorry. If you push yourself hard enough and make all the right moves, that’s the only Rude Awakening the entire game needs. Nothing is given, kick the fucking door off the hinges.”
