Cassper Nyovest: “I was feeling unappreciated and disrespected by SA Hip Hop”

Cassper Nyovest took the time to air his sentiments on what drove him to do house and Amapiano a genre that has taken over the game. His versatility as usual allowed him to kill the space and even though at core he is hip hop, Cassper excelled very well with Kwaito and house songs.

His rap fans who have an appreciation for his dope rap verses and music felt let down and have on numerous occasions tweeted Cassper asking him to “save the game” and that the sa hip hop space “needs him”

Cassper opened up to why he chose to step away from the game a bit by saying ” I was suddenly feeling unappreciated by the actual game. I am so disrespected that you would swear I haven’t done anything …like I haven’t given them some of the best verses or hits or put out some of the hottest verses”. I started feeling like that and said maybe they will miss me when I’m gone. It’s so funny now that off late every second tweet fans are asking me when are you coming back.”
