AKA Set To Perform At Black Coffee’s Music Is King Concert Despite Rocky History

AKA Set To Perform At Black Coffee’s Concert Despite Rocky History. In spite of the bitter beef AKA and Black Coffee have had which escalated for years, the artists are willing to unite for the sake of music.

Black Coffee is set to host his annual concert Music Is King and has released the artist line-up. Included in the line-up are the likes of Sjava, Moonchild, Nomuzi, Distruction Boyz, Muzi, Jazz Disciples, Samthing Soweto and UK muso Tom Misch.

AKA making part of the list raised questions of whether or not he and the world renowned DJ have cooled off their beef. Speaking to the media Black Coffee stated his reason of including Supa Mega.

“It is not about who sells the most or who is cooler, it is about music. We are trying to create a melting pot of different kinds of music. Whether the artist is big or small, as long as we feel they will bring something to the line-up.”

Music Is King will take place on the 14th of December in Johannesburg at the Ticket-pro Dome, and in Durban on December 15, at the Kings Park Outer Fields.
