‘I Taught The Jig,’ Emtee On Being Crucified For Drinking Lean! Emtee has been a rather influential artist in South Africa over the last couple of years.
He is responsible for popularising the double cup in South Africa which is a representation of the drug Codeine known as Lean. Whilst he was at Ambitious Entertainment, Emtee often spoke about how he does not take any drugs after having a few controversial moments in his career which fans often blamed the drugs for.
After leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment, Emtee has been rather open about his drug use. He recently went on Twitter and spoke about how he was crucified for taking lean but he opened the way for upcoming artists in the industry now.
“Niggas crucified me about lean just to open way for lil niggas I taught the jig. FOH,” tweeted Emtee.
