During an interview with Previdar Magazine, Nadia Nakai explored whether she believes her talent is valued in South Africa. This came after she was asked; “do you think your talent is appreciated enough in Mzansi?” In response; the famed rapper said that she believes her talent is appreciated and that having haters simply means she is doing something right.

“I think it is, I think when you are at a certain level in your career you always have haters and I know if I have haters that means I’m doing something right,” she said. “Of course, I would like to grow and become bigger and be more of a household name. But I think what I have achieved in my career I’m very proud of.”

Nadia also took time to appreciate her fans who have been cheering her up even through all the jeers that come with being a female rapper in South Ah. “The fans that I’ve grown with I’m very proud of and I know they’re very proud of me and the things that i set my mind to I always somehow I’m blessed by achieving them or attaining them or whatever the case is,” Nadia said.

On whether she has made an impact in the game, Nadia said; “It says about the new goals that i just want to get, but I think I have made an impact in my own way.” Bragga was recently announced as the new cover for the online magazine Previdar and she was accompanied by family and friends to celebrate the launch. The likes of DJ Zinhle and Kairo Forbes were present amongst other industry friends.
