Their bond highlights that mutual support and working together can indeed serve as a genuine catalyst for success, overshadowing the traditional notion that beef and controversies are necessary to grab the spotlight.

Last year Sjava dropped his 18-track “Isibuko” album which gained massive recognition with Emtee and Saudi being some notable contributors to the project. Saudi secured two features on tracks “Amaphiko” and “Ungavumi,” while Emtee collaborated on “My Life” alongside Lolli Native.

Speaking on “Isibuko” in celebration of its 1st anniversary, Saudi acknowledged Sjava for allowing him to be on his album. Saudi also shared that his favourite song when the album came out was “Kube Ngangazi” and his favourite song now is “Amakhehla.”

“Hey, what’s up? What’s going on? It’s the 1 year anniversary of Isibuko by Sjava, I’m featuring on two songs, Amaphiko and Ungavumi. It’s a special African Trap album. When it first came out my favourite song was “Kube Ngangazi.” Now my favourite song on the album is Amakhehla. Big shout out to Sjava for having me on the album,” Saudi said.

Not only did Saudi come through with a 1-year anniversary message for Isibuko album, but fellow rapper Emtee also sent his big shoutout to Sjava.

“Hey, it’s your boy Emtee, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Isibuko a happy anniversary. Shout out to Sjava but thank you for trusting me to be involved in the project. Im involved in the song “My Life” featuring Lolli Native and myself. That’s one of my favourite songs, but my favourite song is Amakhehla and Ubuhle Bendayo,” Emtee said.

The Hustler said that he resonates sonically with the two songs as someone who makes music. “I think those two songs sonically speak to me as somebody who creates music. Listening to the instrumental as it comes in before Sjava comes in with the vocals, I mean the instrumental already speaks for itself and you dont really need to search deeper than that really and I love that about music you know,” Emtee added.
