After announcing the biggest news of her musical career so far, Boity let followers in on how her first break was. Being signed to Def Jam has been the highlight she felt marked a much brighter future for her.

“I didn’t know how much this music journey had in store for me! Cheers to taking that leap of faith! I look forward to this new venture with Def Jam Africa and the incredible opportunities it will bring,” wrote the Wuz Dat rapper.

She further stated how in the moment she got her break, she felt most validated. Boity isn’t limited to just being a rapper but a Presenter, Actress and Businesswoman.

“Just remembered my first presenting gig on Soweto TV in 2008. Although shortlived, yho that validation felt like such a huge deal. Still makes my heart smile.”
