Tragically, the Supa Mega’s untimely demise marked the end of an era. However, the Majorsteez brothers found themselves unwittingly ensnared in the whirlwind of this infamous feud when they formed connections with both artists, ultimately facing the consequences of their associations.

Speaking during an interview on Spreading Humours Podcast, the brothers opened up on how Cassper Nyovest sidelined them after finding out they had an unreleased song with AKA. “So we told Nyovi, I remember I was on the phone with him, i was like what you saying and then he laughed and said what can I say? I was like ok sure, thank you for hearing me out Nyovi have a goodnight.” Sihle said.

“Then I was like we’ll see you guys at the fill-up Mmabatho Stadium, eeish dawg that day comes, the lineup comes, we are not there. We were not there at all,” Majorsteez’s Sihle added. On whether their relationship took a knock, Sihle said; “Yeah I’m not gonna lie, it definitely took a hit.”

However, Sandile had his own view stating candidly that there’s no more relationship between them and Cassper Nyovest. “There’s no relationship, there’s not much of a relationship as it used to be before Steez told him about the news about our collaboration with Kiernan. So there’s not much of that relationship and we see it.” Sandile said.

Sihle went on to say that they didn’t think that AKA and Cassper’s beef was a real thing until they were caught up in the crossfire. “Hip-hop is Hip-hop for real, we didn’t think that the beef was the real thing when Kiernan forgave us fast. Then when it came to Cass we got cut out, that’s when we were like okay the beef is very real.” Sihle said.

Even though they might be not in the good books right now, Majorsteez made it clear that they have a real love for Cassper for what he did for them. “We still have love for the man because, at the end of the day, he did something for us that no one has ever done, and can’t be undone. He changed our lives, so we will always have love for the grootman,” the Majorsteez boys said.
