Around the time Emtee left AE and expressed feeling exploited The Popcast host blamed & dragged the label but also stated how Emtee brought the hardship of dealing with AE to himself. When rappers were blamed for not taking part Scoop revealed that he called the boss about the issue.

To show how he has altered his views about the label Makhathini expressed how sorry he was and commended them on their talent to spot great talent.
