Kwesta Explains Why He Couldn’t Rap On ‘Kapteni’ By Zakwe & Duncan

Kwesta Explains Why He Couldn’t Rap On ‘Kapteni’ By Zakwe & Duncan. When fans first hear that a record will feature a rapper they expect bars and rhymes instead of hooks, unfortunately Kwesta hasn’t been delivering raps on his features leaving most fans disappointed.

Last week Friday Zakwe and Duncan dropped their self-titled joint album consisting of 15 tracks with features of K.O, Beast and Kwesta. One thing common is that K.O and Kwesta don’t actually rap they simply do hooks while Zakwe and Duncan take over with the most distinct rap.

When asked why Kwesta only came in for a hook than raps on Kapteni song, he said he begged and pleaded but wasn’t allowed.

“Hheyi, I pleaded and begged. Zakwe and Duncan said “Shay’ iHook uthule wena maan” Njenge sosha ke ngathumeka. We rapped on many songs coming up and there’s still many songs coming up. You will be served. Okwamanje, let’s enjoy the album??? Ungakhali,” Kwesta assured fans.

Last week K.O also explained his part on being on the hook only with all his capabilities to threw in a few bars.

“Song was gonna end up super long, just happy I got to work with the homies,” Mr Cashtime expressed himself.
