Maraza On Why He Will Never Engage With Celebrities On Twitter. Twitter is by far one of the most used social media platform which allows celebrities and fans to interact freely. It has its prons and cons, one of them has led Maraza to limit his way of using it.
The rapper who is well known for being opinionated and not shy to drop his 2 cents on certain topics, he mentioned why he won’t engage with celebrities.
He said that at times he decides against chiming into certain tweets celebrities post to avoid having thing blown out of proportion. He said the way the court of public opinion is set up – it makes it hard to engage.
“Seeing tweets that I feel very strongly about and want to engage with as a South African. But they’re from a celeb, and the way the court of public opinion is set up,” he tweeted.
He added: “People here care less about WHAT you’re saying, and more about WHEN you say it and WHO you’re agreeing with. Even if they also believe in what you’re saying, they will hate you if it’s in agreement with someone they dislike. So, no, I’m not coming.”
At this point we can’t tell who compelled him to speak out on this, hopefully one day he will burst and challenge celebrities’ tweets.
