Tweezy Shares How He Is Planning To Show DJ Sbu An Extensive Support On His Mo Foya Brand

Tweezy Shares How He Is Planning To Show DJ Sbu An Extensive Support On His Mo Foya Brand. South Africa has the most hardworking generation, but at times the hustle is delayed by the lack of support.

Award winning hip hop producer Tweezy has shared how he is planning to use his platform to promote the good local work.

Back in 2014 media personality populary known as DJ Sbu launched an energy drink he named Mo Faya. Being a persistent businessman that he is he pushed for the energy drink to make it to big stores. He even initiated a tactic to go sell the drinks on the road. Although it created job opportunities and inspired the youth, the DJ didn’t receive as much support from fellow industry mates.

“Can South African Hip-hop do for @djsbu’s Mo Faya brand what American Hip-hop did for Hennessey and Gucci… Include him in your punchlines, make songs about him. It’ll inspire others. It shows we love ourselves. Please and thank you very much!” Said Lavida Nota.

Feeding into his growth Sbu added a cold drink to his Mo Foya brand which seems to be out on distribution already. Tweezy took Nota’s advise and decided he will grant major support to Sbu by advertising Mo Faya on his upcoming music videos.

In 2017, DJ Sbu revealed that he sold 26% stake of the Mo Faya drink for a solid R493 Million to Coca Coca Cola.

He said it’s “an acquisition deal that will see the MoFaya brand produce it’s own carbonated drinks categories, different energy drink flavours and will see the MoFaya Brand in every fridge in the whole of South Africa, SADC and to over 17 African countries”.
