Following his departure from Ambitouz Entertainment, Emtee continues the tradition of his albums after people dear to him. His debut album, Avery, was released in 2015 and was named after his firstborn kid. His second album Manando was released in 2017 and was titled after a slain OG from his neighbourhood who used to guard and advise him back in the day.

Many South African hip-hop fans have praised the aforementioned Emtee’s body of work as his greatest to date. The majority of Emtee’s supporters are even unable to pick between Manando and Avery. Taking to Twitter, Sizwe Dhlomo admitted that he is failing to choose between Avery and Manando as choosing one seems like cutting off one of his fingers. “Between Manando & Avery, which one is better? I can’t decide. It’s like choosing which one of my fingers to chop.”

Sizwe has admitted that he is very fond of Emtee and he wants to see the acclaimed rapper doing well in his rap career. The media personality said he would want someone to help Emtee and unleash the greatness that’s within the rapper.  “So for me, I wish somebody could help Emtee to realize the greatness that is in him, but it also requires some work on his side because he’s got demons that he needs to defeat so that’s the first thing,” Sizwe Dhlomo said during an interview on Podcast and Chill.
