Priddy Ugly Reacts To Remarks That He’s The Best SA Rapper Right Now. Following the completion of his trilogy with the release of the DUST album, Priddy Ugly has been at the centre of a debate among fans and music enthusiasts, with many praising his pen game.
During the Culture Chopp segment on the Choppin’ It With Bhuda T Podcast, Farx passionately opposed the negativity surrounding Priddy Ugly‘s reputation over the years. Farx emphasized that Priddy Ugly has significantly elevated the standards of SA Hip Hop with his lyrical prowess, asserting that he rightfully deserves recognition as the best rapper in South Africa at present.
“You guys get lost in the f*cking jokes that mean nothing, Priddy Ugly has always delivered when it comes to this. He’s also one person who prides himself when it comes to the pen. We’ve known Priddy for about 10 years if not more, I’ve never heard his pen slip,” Farx said.
“I think there are lyricists that you guys favour more it clouds your judgement. To me, I think in recent times Priddy is our best rapper and I dont n**gs are even developing. Priddy is still going, his skill I can still hear the improvement in this album (DUST),” Farx added.
In response, the acclaimed rapper expressed his alignment with Farx’s sentiments, noting that he often encounters similar sentiments from fans and fellow industry professionals in personal interactions.
