Emtee made it from being a village boy to living the North side lifestyle. Most people know and sing the, “started from the bottom now we here” phrase but will never get to know what starting from the bottom really is like.

The rapper has been called out for being too cocky without actually understanding why he is the way he is. Emtee explained that he was bullied while growing up so now that he has made it he will not let anyone disrespect him.

The rapper came out of some of the toughest situations through perseverance and hardwork. “They thought Ima die a village boy. They thought I’d be stuck ekasi. They thought I’d be swallowed by the big city. I’m in the North now mah boyi” said Emtee.
