'They Can Ignore Me All They Want,' Rouge On Recognition In Hip Hop

‘They Can Ignore Me All They Want,’ Rouge On Recognition In Hip Hop! Rouge is one of the hardest working rappers in the game. Having entered the game some 3 years ago with her debut single “Party“, Rouge has been making major moves.

Rouge recently complained about not getting recognition in the game although she puts in a lot of work. The rapper has been crying this song for a while now. She recently got nominated for a SAFTA, being the first rapper to get nominated in the Best Micro-Budget Film, she feels like she is not getting the credit she deserves because she is a woman.

“They can ignore me all they want…. award winning artist and now a SAFTA nominee. First rapper to do this….ignore it, deny my contribution to the culture. But it doesn’t change the fact. I came up with a story and got it on to your screen. #Womeninhiphop,” tweeted Rouge.
