A-Reece’s Wrecking Crew member Mashbeatz was one of the SA hip-hop artists who shocked most fans after he did not bag any nominees this year. The famed producer was the master behind one of the most viral songs in SA hip hop this year Never Ride which consisted of various rappers.

His snub from the producer of the year nominees shocked many people with the likes of Priddy Ugly posing questions as to what else the producer has to do for him to be recognised. . “What more did @MashBeatz_ have to do or produce to qualify for producer of the year?” Tweeted Priddy Ugly.

Even though MashBeatz did not receive his flowers back home, the rapper has been trending on the New York Time Square Billboard.

Taking to Instagram Mashbeatz shared a picture and a video of him appearing on Times Square Billboard as he is set to drop new music on the 25th of November. “SA HIP HOP MADE IT TO NEW YORK TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARDS, THANK YOU GOD 💜. THANK YOU @youtubemusic FOR BELIEVING IN BLACK VOICES,” he wrote.

Mashbeatz‘s contribution to Champion Music has been immense this year and he is one of the artists who have been very much active in the game. The Never Ride hitmaker has managed to incorporate the talents of different artists in SA hip-hop to come one good sound in Champion music which has been very much appreciated by the fans and the Hip hop community at large. With his new project coming out in a few days’ time the famed producer will be looking forward to ending the year on a high.
