South African Airways Responds To AKA’s Complaint Of Playing ONLY International Songs On Planes

South African Airways Replies To AKA’s Complaint Of Playing ONLY International Songs On Planes. Kiernan Forbes made complaints concerned at the SAA( South African Airways) for playing strictly international music and no local tunes.

The Jika rapper called the act disgraceful, highlighting how it is contradicting with what it stands for by not playing South African music.

“Dear @flysaa why do you play ANYTHING that is NOT SOUTH AFRICAN ?? in our planes” tweeted AKA. “You are the FLAG carrier airline of our country, furthermore you are a STATE OWNED entity. Please explain to us why I am listening to Michael Buble as I disembark? Disgraceful.”

As an influential person who even has a political influence on certain matters, his cry was heard and tended to. SAA promised to take the complaint into consideration.

“We hear you. We know that this-amongst many other things, is something we need to fix.

“We are working on making flying SAA truly flying RSA and by making one little change at a time we want to make you proud to #flysaa. Izandla ziyagezana, your criticism is our motivation,” wrote the organization’s official Twitter account.

Forbes got back with another reply thanking them for their initiative to take action.

“Thank You @flysaa ?? We don’t mind music from all over the world on the entertainment systems, but the music being played INSIDE the plane for EVERYONE should surely be PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN.
