Cassper Accused Of Stealing Artwork From French Rapper For His ‘Sweet & Short’ 2.0 Album Cover. Multi award winning rapper Cassper has been fighting off a number of trolls lately about his upcoming album release and his highly anticipated celebrity boxing matches. His Sweet & Short 2.0 album had fans wondering why the rapper is releasing an amapiano project with no hip hop songs and now fans are wondering if Cassper stole the artwork for the project.

Cassper: "I Don't Do PR For Music"

Cassper announced the release of his Sweet & Short 2.0 album recently and dropped the artwork for the cover at the same time. The artwork had fans asking themselves if Cassper got some inspiration from elsewhere for it. A fan in Cassper’s comments mentioned that Cassper copied the artwork from French rapper Gims saying that the rapper lacked originality in the design.

When the album’s artwork was released, Cassper explained the meaning behind it. The Good For That rapper explained that there are a few symbols on it writing that one of them is that it was written in stone. The ladder on the album cover represents the level he is at currently and how long it will take other artists to reach his level. When the fan had asked he said they should read it interpret it themselves further.

Cassper has already dropped three singles from the upcoming album with the latest released Siyamthanda featuring producer Abidoza and songstress Boohle, making waves across the country’s streaming platforms. The single debuted at number one on both Apple Music and Spotify platforms and continues to leave amapiano fans moving their feet to the release.

Cassper’s album is due to be released on the 30th of June 2021. He has lined up incredible features for the album including Samthing Soweto, DJ Sumbody, Reece Madlisa, and Lady Du.
