Emtee Reportedly Behind On Car Payments For A Car He Bought In 2018. Emtee has made headlines countless times for other things besides his music and has stirred controversy for numerous reasons. The Long Way rapper had now made headlines for skipping out on payments for a car he purchased years ago.

Emtee Speaks On The Reason Why People Think Of Him As A Drug Addict

It was recently reported by the City Press that Emtee has been skipping out on payments for a double cab Ford Ranger that he purchased in February 2018. The total cost of the car was R476 590 and he entered into an agreement to pay R9 417.81 per month over 72 months but Emtee had skipped 20 months of payments.

According to the news report by the City Press, by May 2018 Emtee had already skipped a payment and currently owes FFS Finance SA over R190 000 and they are demanding he return the car or the car will be repossessed. It was also reported that an application was filed by FFS Finance SA at the Johannesburg High Court and a letter of demand was sent to him on the 10th of December 2020.

The reputable newspaper contacted Emtee for a statement but told them that someone was out to get him and asked the newspaper where they had gotten the information from. He had also told City Press that he was not aware of a court case opened against him and said that he was tired of bad things being said about him in the media. He can be quoted saying, “Who sent you? I just want to know the person who told you all of his“.

The report further reads,

The notice was sent by the plaintiff to legal dispatch to be delivered at the address of the defendant”, the court papers read. The financial services company also is seeking an order to cancel the credit agreement between the parties.
