The Big Hash Reveals His Two Favourite US Rappers Right Now. The Big Hash opened up about his admiration for Canadian superstar Drake, declaring him as his favourite US rapper.

The 24-year-old artist celebrated for his unique fusion of melodic rap and compelling storytelling, revealed that although Drake remains his favourite, Playboi Carti and Yeat have currently captured his attention. He explained that their recent music shares a notable resemblance to the style that resonates with him at this moment.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, Hash mentioned; “Right now for me, it’s crazy because I would say, Drake but just based off my rotation lately, I hate to say it but Playboi Carti right now and Yeat. I know they like the same group chat. If I relate to it then I’m probably alien myself extraterrestrial type of s**t.”

The trajectory of The Big Hash‘s rise to stardom in South African hip-hop was significantly influenced by the late Riky Rick. Since the day Hash was invited to perform on stage by the late rapper, he has undeniably become a phenomenal presence in the game.

During the interview with OkayWisher Hash was asked what he would say to Riky Rick right now in terms of where the game is right now. “Riky was here to get you in the game if Riky was here right now in this state of the game where Amapiano is taking over and everything. What would you tell to Riky right now?” In response; The Big Hash said; “he’s missing out on Yeat.”

The Dark Horse chanter is currently working towards his sophomore album  ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ which is set to drop early this year. “It took 4 years to finish this album, but it was definitely worth every damn headache. The most raw and uncut form I’ve ever been. Patience is key,” he said.
