People have expressed a variety of opinions in response to the rapper’s terrible death, seeking to understand what may have led the Supa Mega to be killed. Taking to YouTube, the talky and controversial Slik Talk shared his point of view on what could’ve led AKA to be killed.

Slik Talk blamed AKA for going to Durban, the native of his ex-girlfriend Anele Tembe who tragically passed away on the rapper’s watch. Taking from reports in Sunday Times, Slik Talk said that the World Is Yours hitmaker was warned not to come to Durban after the passing of Anele.

“So I’m hearing reports from the Sunday Times that AKA was apparently banned from Durban, he said. Im hearing that he was banned in Durban, he had received multiple warnings never to set foot in Durban, and people had told him on multiple occasions never to see a foot in Durban and he did it anyway.”

Slik Talk went on to say that AKA was never free to roam around the streets of Durban because he was not forgiven for what happened to Anelle. “You were never good in Durban AKA, you were never free to roam the streets of Durban because they still haven’t forgiven you for what you did to their sunflower. You think people forgot about Nelli Tembe? Is that what you think?”

“You think people have forgotten what happened to Nelli Tembe? AKA rest in peace my brother but life does not work like that. People don’t just move on in the blink of an eye, that’s not how life works. You have to be careful and you have to move accordingly,” Slik Talk added.

The YouTuber said that the late rapper was very naive to share his location and his whereabouts whilst he was in Durban. “If you’re banned from a place how dare you, the ignorance and the naivety of posting locations showing people where you are the whole f*cking weekend. Life does not work like that. You have to be cautious at all times. You have to move accordingly at all times because you are not home.

“Posting the restaurants, posting the barber shops, life does not work like that. AKA was careless with his movements, lets call a spade a spade. I like the guy’s music and I like his personality but at the end of the day we have to learn from his mistakes so we don’t repeat them,” he said.
